He has more than 20 years’ experience acting in a range of corporate and commercial legal transactions, with a particular interest in the commercialisation of IP and licensing. Michael currently works with several well-known global brands in the IT and fast-moving-consumer-goods (FMCG) industries, helping them to manage risk and exploit their IP assets to their full potential. Michael was a director for ten years for an Australian company which designs, develops and manufactures radio communication equipment and emergency beacons, which has given Michael practical experience and insight into the product development process and IP commercialisation. Before embarking on his career as a lawyer, Michael worked as a Patent Examiner at IP Australia for about 3 years.
