Dr Madeline Taylor

Dr Taylor holds her research specialisation and scholarship in Energy, Mining and Natural Resources Law; Property and Land Law; Corporate and Commercial Law; Intellectual Property Law and Food Law and Policy. She has authored over 20 published peer reviewed articles, 5 book chapters, 10 conference papers and awarded three Federal Tier-1 Grants. Her research and publications focus on the fields of unconventional petroleum regulation, resource development approvals in agricultural areas and private landholder resource compensation and negotiation agreements. Dr Taylor's latest work, entitled Agricultural Land Use and Natural Gas Extraction Conflicts (Routledge, 2018), explores the socio-regulatory dimensions of coexistence between agricultural and onshore unconventional gas land uses in the jurisdictions with the highest concentration of proven unconventional gas reserves -- Canada, Australia, the USA, the UK, France, Poland and China. She is also an ongoing author of Energy and Resources Law, published by LexisNexis.
