How do the browse and search functions work for accessing the Store catalog?
When exploring the Store you have several options:
- Browse by Practice Area
- Browse by Topic
- Browse Bestsellers
- Browse a List of New Releases
If you already know exactly what product you are looking for, you may search for that product directly using either a simple keyword search, or a more comprehensive advanced search, which allows searching in several fields, such as:

Orders, Shipping & Returns
Is the Store online ordering process secure?
Yes. The LexisNexis Store site uses state-of-the-art security provided by Netscape's secure socket layer, which ensures that sensitive information does not pass through unecrypted. The Store does not maintain a database of your credit card numbers. In fact, if you need to discuss your website purchases or transactions with a Store representative, be sure to write down your transaction number.
When can I expect my order to arrive?
This will depend on the shipping option you selected at time of purchase, as well as on whether any of the items ordered are on backorder.
Rush Delivery: Your order will be processed on the next AU business day. Please allow 2 - 3 days for delivery subsequent to the processing of your order.
Standard Delivery: Your order will be processed on the next AU business day. Please allow 4 - 5 days for delivery subsequent to the processing of your order.
For orders under $125, a shipping and handling fee of $11 inc GST is incurred for a standard delivery and $15 inc GST is incurred for a rush delivery.
For orders over $125, standard delivery is free, however a shipping and handling fee of $25 inc GST is incurred for rush delivery.
How do I cancel an order?
If you wish to cancel an order that you have submitted, please call us at 1800 772 772 (8am - 6pm AEST, Monday to Friday). Or, send an email to email@example.com as soon as possible. Please note that we cannot cancel an order once it has entered the shipping process.
How do I return an order?
For Writtten Publications (textbooks and bound volumes only):
- You must notify us in writing within 30 days of the date of the invoice that you wish to cancel your order and you must return the goods to us in as-new condition.
- If you fulfill the above conditions, we (in our absolute discretion) will either issue you with a credit or refund the purchase price paid by you.
- Except where required by law, we will not accept returns of or issue credits for any Written Publications supplied by us but published by affiliated foreign publishers.
