Dudley has more than 19 years’ experience advising national and multinational corporates on a range of commercial, regulatory and specialised technology matters.
Throughout his career, Dudley has advised a variety of clients on major technology arrangements with companies including Ricoh, AAPT, Telstra, Logica, Wipro, CSC, Brennan IT, IBM, HP, Accenture and Datacom.
His experience also includes advising a range of technology suppliers on the provision of managed services, hosting, maintenance and support and product and service supply solutions to medium and large Australian based corporates and government clients.
Additionally, Dudley advises on niche areas of law including privacy law, marketing laws, cyber risk, data security and cyber insurance, including both commercial aspects and legal/regulatory compliance.
Dudley has been recognised in the Doyles’ Guide rankings for Leading Technology, Media & Telecommunications Lawyers – Melbourne in 2017, 2016 and 2015. Recent transaction include:
- Advising an international technology services company on its ongoing customer contract arrangements including for the provision of managed services, cloud services, hosting and related services. This work also includes regularly advising the client on complex equipment leasing arrangements involving third party financiers.
- Advising AustralianSuper on its Internal Investment Management project. This involved assisting with drafting the requests for proposal, advising on the scoring and down selection process, drafting master service agreements, related statements of work and ancillary agreements with subcontractors and negotiating terms with down selected vendors in New York, Boston and Melbourne.
