About Mark

For more than ten years Mark prosecuted criminal matters in summary trials and committal proceedings for a vast range of offences including Common Assault, Assault Occasioning Bodily Harm, Burglary, Possession of Dangerous Drugs, Supply of Dangerous Drugs, Wilful Damage, Stealing, Fraud, Arson, Torture, Deprivation of Liberty, Rape, and Murder in a number of Magistrates Courts across Queensland. He has also prosecuted traffic matters and Childrens Court matters. Mark has also prosecuted applications for, and breaches of, domestic violence orders.

Mark is admitted as a barrister in Queensland, Western Australia and Tasmania and the High Court of Australia. In addition to being an employed member of the Bar, Mark is also a sessional academic in the School of Law at QUT. Mark is a commissioned officer in the Australian Army (Reserve), a graduate of the Royal Military College Duntroon, and currently holds the rank of Major. He is currently posted as an Instructor at the Queensland University Regiment.
