About Fran

Fran is a finance lawyer, with 25 years' experience in commercial finance. During her career she has acted for lenders, borrowers and insolvency practitioners, and advised corporate, government and financial services clients in relation to asset and project structuring, finance and lending related issues.

Fran has worked in-house within the asset and structured finance team of an Australian investment bank. Whilst in-house Fran worked on the development of asset-based finance products and the establishment of a number of equipment leasing businesses.

Fran led the Clayton Utz Banking & Financial Services group from 2014 to 2016 before stepping down to focus on client work.

Fran is also active outside of Clayton Utz. She is a board member of Women in Banking and Finance Inc. She also has two leadership roles in NFP charities – as an Ambassador for Good Return and a non-executive director of a start-up charity, Hope2Day.
