About Mark

Mark has extensive experience in criminal law, employment law and human rights. His experience includes having been a tipstaff to the Hon. Justice David Hunt, former Chief Judge at Common Law of the NSW Supreme Court and having worked as a solicitor for the NSW EPA, NSW DPP and Legal Aid, amongst others.

Mark is also qualified as a barrister in South Australia where he practised in criminal, administrative and employment law and subsequently, as Trial Counsel for the Aboriginal Legal Rights Movement. He is admitted to practise in New South Wales, Tasmania and South Australia, and to the Federal and High Courts of Australia.

More recently, Mark was Executive Counsel and Team Lead for Harmers Workplace Lawyers. Currently, in addition to writing for LexisNexis, Mark undertakes assignments for Lawyers on Demand (LOD) and manages his own practice, Guardian Legal Australia.
