About Ishanee
Ishanee has more than 7 years of experience at top and mid-tier law firms, a non-government organisation, as well at various state and federal government agencies. In her role as a Senior Legal Officer with the Australian Government, she has been involved in complex and novel public law matters in an advisory capacity. In particular, Ishanee has extensive experience in privacy and data protection matters including advising on cross-border transfers of personal data, setting up ICT infrastructure in compliance with privacy and data protection requirements, and privacy assessments for projects. She has won awards, including a Secretary’s award for Excellence, in recognition of her work for the government.
