Rebecca has more than 17 years' experience acting in a broad range of disputes and litigation, and alternative dispute resolution, of varying sizes with a particular focus on professional indemnity.
She has acted for both plaintiffs and defendants from a diverse range of backgrounds, industries, and sectors, including insurance, legal, construction, property and development, transport, banking and finance, medical, education, native title and related matters, and commissions and inquiries work.
She has, particularly, acted extensively for solicitors and their insurers in complex litigated claims and policy disputes. She has also acted in disputes involving, amongst others, stockbrokers, real estate agents, property developers, surveyors, electricians, insurance brokers, banks, dentists, doctors, nurses, universities and their staff, and state government officials.
Rebecca has acted for a range of clients, private and corporate, across all Queensland Courts, interstate, in the Federal Court, and in a range of commissions.
Rebecca has been a Queensland Law Society Accredited Specialist in Commercial Litigation since 2014. She has been recognised as a leading Professional Indemnity Lawyer in Doyle's Guide each year since 2017.
Rebecca is a Member of the Queensland Law Society Litigation Rules Committee. She is also a member of the Federal Court (Queensland Registry) Commercial and Corporations Consultation Committee.
