Compliance Innovation from LexisNexis Wins 2017 NSW iAward

LexisNexis Regulatory Compliance recognised at Australia's leading awards program for innovation in the digital economy

Sydney, 13 June 2017: LexisNexis® is pleased to announce that its newest solution, LexisNexis Regulatory Compliance, was named a merit winner in the Business Services category at the 2017 NSW iAwards.

iAwards is an innovation program from the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) that honours organisations at the cutting edge of technology innovation and recognises the achievements of home-grown Australian innovators.

LexisNexis Regulatory Compliance is Australia's most comprehensive legal obligations register and alerting solution, empowering businesses to take control of regulatory risk by providing practical compliance content.

Myfanwy Wallwork, Executive Director – Regulatory Compliance, LexisNexis said, "We are proud to be driving growth and innovation whilst alleviating risk for our clients.

"Businesses in Australia operate in a highly regulated environment, and the magnitude of regulatory change puts pressure on all organisations, regardless of their size.

"We developed Regulatory Compliance to give clients the advantage of a technology solution that can be always on and always available for any business."

To facilitate any sized business, LexisNexis Regulatory Compliance is offered online for small businesses, in a secure and affordable web-based register, as well as for enterprises, integrating with their new or existing ERM system.

Simon Wilkins, General Manager – Australia, LexisNexis added, "We are delighted to have been recognised by such a distinguished judging panel as a beneficial digital technology for businesses.

The iAward is not only recognition of our unique products and technology but also the cumulative effort of everyone involved in helping make LexisNexis Regulatory Compliance a successful new entrant into the compliance market."

As a result of the award, LexisNexis is now one of the select few that will go on to compete at the National iAwards in August.

Matt Wynn-Jones, Chair of the AIIA NSW Council, said that the purpose of the iAwards is to uncover and reward innovation that makes a positive impact on broader society, "I am always overwhelmed with the calibre of entrants from NSW and this year is no exception with an outstanding line up".

The iAward win follows another recent accolade for LexisNexis Regulatory Compliance as it was named among Australia's most innovative products on the Anthill Magazine 'SMART 100' Index for 2017.
