Double win for LexisNexis in the SMART 100 Index

RightsApp and LexisNexis Regulatory Compliance recognised on innovative product index

Sydney, 8 June 2017: World-first digital international human rights app, RightsApp and Australia's most comprehensive compliance solution, LexisNexis Regulatory Compliance have both been named among Australia's most innovative products on the Anthill Magazine 'SMART 100' Index for 2017.

RightsApp, developed by LexisNexis in partnership with the Australian Human Rights Commission, provides users with instant access to a number of the world's most important human rights treaties and declarations, thereby increasing access to justice.

The app details national responsibilities under the various treaties and is a useful tool for those who need access to human rights information or are fighting a human rights issue.

Regulatory Compliance empowers businesses to take control of their regulatory risk by providing practical and actionable guidance for all Australian jurisdictions, replacing traditionally convoluted or outdated compliance registers.

By delivering an intuitive user experience through dynamic and relevant modules, LexisNexis Regulatory Compliance creates an easy way for businesses to understand and fulfil their obligations - protecting businesses and employees across throughout Australia.

Myfanwy Wallwork, Executive Director - Regulatory Compliance, LexisNexis and Rule of Law Executive Sponsor, said, "Both of these projects were created as part of our ongoing mission to advance the rule of law.

"RightsApp directly increases access to justice by making human rights information readily accessible to anyone who needs it.

"Regulatory Compliance promotes transparency of the law in that legal obligations must be clear, precise and accessible to all.

"It provides a real solution to the burden of constantly changing legislative and regulatory requirements in business, allowing those responsible for compliance to understand and incorporate those changes into their compliance framework."

Simon Wilkins, General Manager - Australia, LexisNexis added, "The inclusion of these solutions is testament to their standing as pioneering, customer-focused products.

"Both deliver efficiency, value and maximum empowerment to the end user.

"We are proud to see these products recognised with such high regard and championed for the real-world benefits they provide."

The inclusion of the products in the Index marks the second consecutive year LexisNexis solutions have been recognised for their innovative design, following the inclusion of Lexis Draft in 2016.
