Introducing Lexis Advance: a revolutionary new legal research platform powered by smart technology
Next generation legal research solution Lexis Advance® offers faster, more relevant and intuitive research and workflow integration capabilities
Lexis Advance®, the next generation legal research solution developed by LexisNexis, launched today in Australia providing law firms, government agencies and in-house counsel with smart research technology that will transform research practices and provide efficiency gains.
Generating legal insights that are faster to obtain, more relevant and easier to share across teams and with clients, the new platform gives users more options to personalise, analyse and manage their research. It is the next step in the evolution of LexisNexis Pacific solutions that are focused on translating customer needs and work styles into innovative capabilities.
"Lexis Advance is not only a comprehensive legal research product, it is also a breakthrough in Australian legal research," said Dr Marc K Peter, Chief Operating Officer of LexisNexis. "Its broad research and workflow capability controls legal content online and within LexisNexis solutions simultaneously from a single, smart search box. Its user-friendly interface and streamlined navigation, as well as the range of filters, features, workflow and collaboration tools allow for simple, clear and flexible search".
"We have developed the product in partnership with more than 1,000 local customers, including barristers, practitioners from national law firms and government agencies. The initial feedback has been that the intuitive design of Lexis Advance cuts down research time and improves overall workflow processes and collaboration. Time saving and efficiency enables legal practitioners to enhance their service offerings to clients and improve their profitability in an increasingly competitive legal landscape", he added.
Erin Mc Cabe, Clerk and Practice Manager at Level 22 Chambers, has reviewed Lexis Advance and finds the product intuitive in search functionality. "The ability to drill down in your search and really qualify what you are looking for is a great advantage," says Ms Mc Cabe. "The additional tools, such as the ability to create individual folders and capture search history, will ensure that legal research is more time efficient and user-friendly."
