Ffyona Livingstone Clark was admitted to the Bar in 2017, and appears for both prosecution and defence in a wide range of criminal matters in the Children's Court, Magistrates' Court, County Court, Supreme Court, and in the Court of Appeal. Before going to the Bar Ffyona worked as a solicitor advocate at the Department of Health and Human Services, and Victoria Legal Aid, and in policy and support roles at the Coroners' Court of Victoria, the Law Institute of Victoria, Robert Stary Lawyers, and Legal Aid Queensland. In 2019, Ffyona completed a Master of Laws (Criminal Practice) with Distinction, and is a currently undertaking a PhD. Her research focuses on evidentiary issues in child sex offence matters. She is the co-author (with Felicity Gerry QC) of the Children and Sex Work chapters in Bourke's Criminal Law Victoria, published by LexisNexis.
