Group CEO visits LexisNexis Australia

We were pleased to welcome Andy Prozes, CEO LexisNexis Group, back to Australia last month.  He was on a flying visit, but managed to pack in a great deal.  After a day full of meetings in Sydney there was even time for a little relaxation on the golf course.  We’re always pleased to host Andy and were keen to get some feedback about his views on how we measure-up compared to what’s going on globally.  Here’s what Andy had to say:

“I came away very impressed with the new developments in LexisNexis Australia, and with the calibre and quality of the strengthened management team. The former is obviously an outcome of the latter. Most impressive for me were the new practice management solutions, such as LexisNexis Back Office Library. The integration of Australian research into the practice management functionality of PC Law and other practice management tools was very exciting.

My impression is that LexisNexis Pacific is emerging as a real leader in the
development of innovative new practice managment solutions which combine practice management with research. I was genuinely impressed.

I also played my first golf game in Australia with managing partners from 3 law firms arranged
by Mike Russell, General Manager, Legal Markets. The rainy and cold afternoon finished with some cold Victoria lager and warm cheer and re-assuring feedback from our customers.

I think we are making good headway in our solutions journey in Australia, and I applaud Max Piper and the entire management team for their progress. I am leaving with a sense that Australia is on a roll in the right direction. Much still to do, but good people with good aggressive new thinking.”
