Continuing to improve our online legal research solution

Following on from the improvements that were mentioned in the last Upfront, there will be more changes to the LexisNexis AU online research solution; these will make your research even easier and save you time. Here is an overview of the planned changes for 22 June 2008:

New Copy Link
This allows you to create a direct link to a document or search result. You can then copy the link and email it to your colleagues for convenient access, saving you time and removing the need to replicate searches.

Increased Number of Sources
The “My Sources” list on the home page has been updated for increased flexibility. You can now change your list to select any number of sources in each category - up to 60 sources in total. There are no longer limits per category: “Cases”, “Commentary” or “Practice Areas”. This enhancement does not apply to individual users under an IP fixed account, unless you are registered for customisation.

Addition of Hong Kong Sources
This means that you can now search across Hong Kong cases sources in a combined search along with United Kingdom and New Zealand cases sources, as long as you are a subscriber to these relevant Hong Kong sources.

Label Change for Source Directory
In the Source Directory, the “International” country category has been re-labelled “Multinational” to reflect the purpose of the category, e.g. a journal containing multiple country content. This makes accessing all subscribed international content more intuitive - accessible from the “All Countries” category, as well as individual regions such as “Asia” and “United Kingdom”.
