The theme of this year’s Conference is Circles of Influence – Inform, Involve, Inspire. It was selected to recognise the important role in-house counsel play in guiding the strategy and operation of their business or department. Reflecting this theme in the program are several key sessions including: Influencing to Make a Commercial Impact, A CEO’s Perspective on In-house Counsel as a Trusted Business Adviser and an update on the Australian Economic Outlook.
Once again, the National Conference will include the presentation of the ACLA Australian In-house Lawyer of the Year Awards at the Annual Dinner on Thursday evening, 1 November 2007. Your conference registration fee includes a ticket to the Dinner and the Awards. Note, you can register for the Awards and Dinner separately from the conference. Extended lunch and refreshment breaks are also designed to facilitate the making of new contacts and the re-establishment of old acquaintances.
