Two important reports have recently been released relating to First Nations employment and educational outcomes. The First Nations Workforce Analysis found that while gaps still exist for the community in employment and education, particularly in remote areas, a number of positive trends are emerging. The second report is based on our regular survey of employers about their recruitment experiences. This time, JSA sought their feedback on their experience with First Nations job applicants - Employers' experiences of First Nations job applicants.

From the Blak Sovereign Movement and Senator Lidia Thorpe: 'We, the Blak Sovereign Movement, have been consistent in our opposition to constitutional recognition and the Voice to Parliament. We are First Nations Elders, activists, academics and community workers that have been united by our work on the frontlines of the battle against colonisation, our commitment to Truth-telling and the value we place in our Sovereignty over this land. Australian Digital Inclusion Index 2023
Telstra, Australian Research Council Arc, RMIT University, Swinburne University of Technology

'Digital inclusion is about ensuring that all Australians can access and use digital technologies effectively. We are experiencing an accelerating digital transformation in many aspects of economic and social life. Our premise is that everyone should have the opportunity to benefit from digital services: to manage their health, access education, find work, participate in cultural activities, organise their finances, follow news and media, and connect with family, friends and the wider world. The Australian Digital Inclusion Index (ADII or 'Index') uses survey data to measure digital inclusion across three dimensions of Access, Affordability and Digital Ability.'
