The College of Law is the largest provider of professional legal training programs in the Southern Hemisphere. The College's Professional Program commenced in Queensland in 2005. In order to provide the fundamental instructional material for the Professional Program, the College has developed the College of Law Practice Papers. The Practice Papers have been written by the College's academic staff and other experts from the legal and other related professions, providing detailed procedural guides to all key areas of legal practice in Queensland, as well as federally. The Practice Papers provide a valuable reference for all students undertaking practical legal training, including those undertaking Articles of Clerkship, as well as for newly admitted solicitors and practitioners who desire to refresh their knowledge in these foundation areas of practice. The entire Practice Paper collection is published online and a number of the papers, which students use most frequently during the Professional Program, are also printed in a three volume format.
