Bob Romeo is Chief Executive Officer of Research & Litigation Solutions (RLS) in North America. RLS is comprised of three major businesses: Research, Litigation Solutions, and LexisNexis Canada.
The RLS businesses support legal professionals in law firms; local, state and federal government agencies; and the corporate sector with content and technology solutions that enable users to make informed decisions and achieve better business outcomes.
Research consists of the vast world-class repository of legal content delivered to legal professionals through state-of-the-art platforms. Litigation Solutions offers a comprehensive integrated portfolio of eDiscovery and litigation management products that reduce the risks and costs of litigation while increasing workflow efficiency. LexisNexis Canada is the company’s Canadian business operation.
Bob joined LexisNexis in December 2008 as Senior Vice President & General Manager of RLS; he was named CEO in January 2011. In this position, he provides leadership and strategic direction to the RLS business.
Prior to joining LexisNexis, Bob was with Thomson Reuters for more than twenty years, where he held several senior management positions, including Senior Vice President of Operations of the Thomson Corporation and Chief Financial Officer of Thomson Legal & Regulatory.
A Certified Public Accountant, Bob is a non-practicing member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Bob graduated from Iona College in New Rochelle, New York, with a B.B.A. degree. He and his wife, Carol, live outside St. Paul, Minnesota, with their three children.
