The Australian Journal of Family Law (AJFL) publishes independently refereed articles, reports, recent legislation, recent Cases and book reviews related to the practice and development of family law in Australia. It covers all Australian jurisdictions and also examines key international developments. The AJFL is a leading forum for the discussion of important issues in family law, such as mediation, property settlement, de facto relationships and domestic violence.
This Australian Journal of Family Lawwas awarded an A ranking by the Australian Research Council in 2009 on the now disused ERA list. Although the emphasis of the journal is on the practice and development of the law, a broad interdisciplinary approach is encouraged. Contributors include members of the judiciary, legal practitioners, academics, psychologists and behavioural scientists.
Published three times annually, the AJFL is available in hardcopy or online.
