About the Author

Dr Paul Kenny is an Associate Professor at Flinders University. Dr Kenny's interests are in taxation policy, capital gains tax and small business taxation. Prior to teaching Dr Kenny worked for the Australian Tax office and tax consulting firms, and published the first edition of this new text in 2004.

About the Contributors

Gordon MacKenzie is Senior Lecturer and Program Convener (Master of Tax and Financial Planning) at ATAX, University of NSW. He has 30 years experience in corporate practice in the areas of taxation of financial services, superannuation, funds management and corporate taxation.

Sonia Shimeld is lecturer in the School of Accounting and Corporate governance, University of Tasmania. Sonia regularly presents at national and international conferences on teaching taxation.

Lidia Xynas is lecturer in the Faculty of Business and Law at Deakin University.
