About the Authors
Sharon Taylor (BCom: Accounting, Finance and Systems, MCom) is Associate Head of School (Engagement) School of Accounting, University of Western Sydney. Sharon was the first academic director of the CFP Professional Education Program delivered by UWS on behalf of the Financial Planning Association. Sharon has received many teaching
awards including College of Business Excellence Award in Teaching in 2004.
Professor Roger Juchau (BCom, BEd, MA, FCPA, FNZIM) is
Emeritus
Professor of Accounting and Management at the University of Western Sydney. He is a leading educator, having initiated and developed accounting programs at four universities, and is an internationally published author.
Beverly Houterman (MA, MBA) has worked in a number of financial services positions since 1984, including as director for a major research house, trustee of a public sector superannuation fund. Beverly has also written and delivered a number of financial planning courses. She is currently providing a financial planning review service, consulting to the industry and lecturing at La Trobe and University of Western Sydney.
