Latest issue of the Australian Journal of Corporate Law

'...the aim was to examine the reform agenda precipitated by the global financial crisis 2008–2009, and the resulting repercussions for the practice of corporate counsel, compliance officers, regulators and law firms, and, in turn, the impact of the global financial crisis upon legal education and research. Legal professionals were acknowledged as both agents involved in previous failures and empowered as agents for change. Consequently the responsibility imposed upon corporate law educators to ensure that their students have the necessary legal, social and ethical understanding required to learn from the past and respond to future challenges was denoted an area worthy of exploration and discussion." The latest issue of the Australian Journal of Corporate Law is a selection of papers from the Corporate Law Teachers' Association Conference, which was held at the University of South Australia Law School in February of this year.
