Time is one of the biggest challenges facing lawyers in developing and maintaining their client relationships. To ensure confidence in the advice provided to clients and reduce the risk of giving incorrect counsel, lawyers must dedicate sufficient time so that they are informed of developments in their area of law; but this time erodes billable hours. To reduce this erosion, firms must look at their research processes to find opportunities for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
