 The Total Solution Journey

The Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (FaHCSIA) is the Australian Government's principal source of advice on social policy and is responsible for approximately one quarter of the government's budgetary outlays.

FaHCSIA works in partnership with other government and non-government organisations to manage a diverse range of programs and services designed to support and improve the lives of Australians. Through its Office for Indigenous Policy Coordination, FaHCSIA is responsible for coordinating a whole of government approach to programs and services for Indigenous Australians, and has a central role in the Australian Government's arrangements for indigenous affairs.

In 2007, FaHCSIA invited tender submissions for the provision of a legal matter management system. LexisNexis is pleased to announce that our best of breed solution, Lexis Visualfiles, was selected as the winning legal solution to address and meet the needs of FaHCSIA.

Tina Webster, Legal Practice Development Manager, comments on why FaHCSIA have selected the Visualfiles solution;
“FaHCSIA has chosen the Visualfiles system as it will provide a matter management solution that will work seamlessly with our current IT systems. The integration with FaHCSIA's worksite will allow for secure management and reporting for FaHCSIA's Legal Practice, that will also fulfil FaHCSIA's record management requirements.

LexisNexis have exhibited an understanding of FaHCSIA's requirements and how the Visualfiles will provide a solution. We have been very impressed with the high level of professionalism displayed by the LexisNexis team and we look forward to working with them on this Project.”
